Lyon and its gastronomy Tour

Lyon is a beautiful city, classified UNESCO world heritage. 2000 years of history can be seen.

The main places your friend will see during the tour (using tram and metro) are :

• The antic theater :build in Lugdunum during the second century.
• The old town
• The beautiful view from the most known church of the town : The "basilique de Fourviere". There, a “metallic tower” is for people in Lyon, their Effel Tower.
• We will take the funicular train called “ficelle” in Lyon to the Fourviere hill
• The old looms of the silk industry that was the main activity in Lyon during five centuries, especially in the “Croix Rousse” hill.
• Your special friend will eat in a “bouchon”. This is the name given to the small restaurant typical from Lyon. Gastronomy is important in Lyon, well know “chef” are in Lyon, such as Paul Bocuse.
